LIST OF ISSUES
Education

As your future governor of Texas, I am passionate about ensuring that every child in Texas has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education. Education is the foundation of a successful and prosperous society, and it is my commitment to prioritize it above all else.

One of the most crucial aspects of improving education is giving our teachers the resources they need to perform at their best. Our teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of our state, and they deserve to be paid what they are worth. Therefore, I will allocate more funds to our public schools to ensure that they can afford to pay their teachers competitive salaries.

By investing in our teachers, we not only attract and retain top talent but also foster a positive learning environment for our students. Teachers who are satisfied with their compensation are more likely to remain committed to their profession and dedicated to providing the best possible education to our children.

Our education system should not only focus on academic knowledge but also equip students with the necessary skills to navigate the real world. I will work closely with educators to develop a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. These essential skills will enable our students to excel in their chosen careers and adapt to the ever-changing demands of our dynamic society.

Additionally, I will advocate for programs that foster innovation and entrepreneurship. These initiatives will enable students to develop their creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, which are essential traits for success in the 21st century job market.

Another cornerstone of my education plan is the establishment of state colleges that Texans can access free of charge. These colleges will provide an affordable and accessible pathway to higher education for all residents of the state.

By offering free college education, we will enable more individuals to pursue their passions and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the 21st century. Whether it's pursuing a traditional degree, vocational training, or a liberal arts education, our state colleges will be dedicated to empowering Texans to reach their educational goals.

To ensure the long-term success of our efforts, I am committed to placing an 18 billion dollar budget into education every three years. This significant investment in education will fund necessary resources, facilities, and programs to improve student outcomes.

By dedicating substantial resources to education, we are investing in the future of our state. A well-educated and highly trained workforce is the key to economic growth, job creation, and social development. By prioritizing education, we will create a brighter and more inclusive future for all Texans.

In conclusion, as your governor, I am committed to making education a top priority in Texas. By investing in our public schools, paying our teachers competitive salaries, preparing our students for the real world, and creating state colleges for free, we will ensure that all Texans have access to a high-quality education and the tools they need to succeed. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.

Child Support

As your future governor of Texas, I will make it a top priority to fix the child support system. The current system, in my opinion, goes against the constitutional rights of individuals and disproportionately affects those who struggle to meet their financial obligations.

In many jurisdictions across the United States, including Texas, there are individuals who face incarceration solely because they have fallen behind on their child support payments. This practice is not only unfair but also ineffective in ensuring the long-term well-being of children.

In my administration, we will work to eliminate the practice of imprisoning individuals solely due to non-payment of child support. Instead, we will explore alternative measures, such as community service and rehabilitation programs, to address non-payment issues. Our goal is to create solutions that support both parents and the well-being of their children, rather than solely punishing one.

To incentivize parents to meet their child support obligations, we will implement a program that rewards those who consistently make timely payments. This program will provide parents with $1,500 per year if they fulfill their child support obligations for a period of 12 consecutive months. This financial incentive will serve as a positive reinforcement for responsible parenting and encourage parents to prioritize their child's needs.

In addition to financial incentives, we will also create a child support insurance program. This program will provide financial support to parents in the event of job loss or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent them from fulfilling their child support obligations. The child support insurance program will cover up to three months of missed payments or until the parent finds another job, ensuring the child's well-being during these challenging times.

Furthermore, under my leadership, we will not take your driver's license or place a lien on your bank, vehicles, or property as a result of non-payment of child support. We understand that these actions can have severe consequences for individuals, and we will make every effort to find alternative solutions before resorting to such measures.

By fixing our child support system, we will create a fair and equitable system that supports both parents and their children. Our efforts will focus on providing financial assistance, incentives, and support to both parents, ensuring that every child receives the care and resources they need to thrive.

Housing

As your future Governor of Texas, I am committed to the continuation of housing assistance programs aimed at helping those in need. However, it is imperative to establish an effective system that ensures that assistance is targeted to those who truly need it, while discouraging those who can capable of working but choose not to.

One of the key priorities in our housing program will be to maintain fairness and prevent abuse. We will not tolerate individuals who knowingly take advantage of our limited resources while neglecting to take personal responsibility for their own well-being. While we understand that certain individuals may be disabled or elderly, we will safeguard their right to continue receiving benefits. However, it is crucial for these individuals to demonstrate a genuine need for support, as we will strictly enforce eligibility criteria.

We firmly believe that work plays a vital role in promoting self-sufficiency and fostering personal responsibility. Therefore, it is only fair that individuals who have the ability to work are given the opportunity to do so. Our housing program will provide support and resources to facilitate job training and job placements, enabling individuals to gain independence and contribute to the community.

While promoting personal responsibility is crucial, we will ensure that vulnerable populations, such as individuals with disabilities or elderly individuals, are not unfairly disadvantaged. These individuals have unique circumstances that require special consideration. Our housing program will include tailored support systems and resources to ensure that their rights and needs are adequately addressed.

Our housing program will be designed to transition individuals from reliance on assistance towards self-sufficiency. Our goal is to empower individuals to become self-reliant and capable of managing their own housing needs. We will work closely with community organizations, employers, and government agencies to provide mentorship, job training, and job placement opportunities.

As your future Governor of Texas, I will continue our efforts to support those in need through our housing program. However, it is essential to ensure that assistance is targeted to those who genuinely need it, while discouraging abuse and promoting personal responsibility. By promoting work, protecting vulnerable populations, and facilitating transitions from assistance, we can create a fair and effective system that ensures the well-being and prosperity of all Texans.

Healthcare

Under my administration as governor of Texas, Healthcare will be free for all residents of Texas. I strongly believe that no one should go without access to essential healthcare services. Therefore, I have made it a priority to ensure that all Texans have the necessary coverage.

To achieve my goal, I believe that everyone should contribute their fair share through a tax system. By paying taxes, every individual helps to support essential services and programs, including healthcare. Therefore, I believe that it is only fair that everyone receives the benefit of healthcare coverage.

As your governor, I am committed to having your back. I promise to prioritize the health and well-being of all Texans. By offering free healthcare, I am committed to ensuring that everyone has access to quality healthcare services.

During my tenure, I will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and government agencies to ensure that the implementation of free healthcare is efficient and effective. I will advocate for policies that promote preventive care, provide adequate insurance coverage, and improve the overall healthcare experience for Texans.

By offering free healthcare, I am committed to creating a healthier and more equitable society for all Texans. It is my belief that no one should have to worry about access to healthcare, and everyone should have the opportunity for a healthy life. Together, we will make Texas a healthier and better place to live.

Property Tax

As your future governor of Texas, I am committed to ending the property tax burden on homeowners. Property tax has become a burdensome and unfair tax that unfairly targets homeowners. The property tax racket has gone on for too long, and it is time to put an end to this outdated system.

Property tax was initially introduced as a way to generate revenue for the country's economy. However, it was never meant to be a permanent solution. It was intended to be a temporary measure that would help fund essential public services and infrastructure. Unfortunately, over time, property tax has become ingrained in our tax system and has become a major source of stress and financial burden for homeowners.

While homeowners continue to struggle with rising property taxes, businesses continue to enjoy significant tax breaks. This disparity is unfair and unjust. Homeowners are the backbone of our communities, and they deserve to be treated fairly. By ending the property tax for homeowners, we can alleviate the burden on hardworking individuals and families, allowing them to keep more of their hard-earned money and invest in their own properties.

Ending property tax for homeowners will bring numerous benefits to our state. First and foremost, it will significantly reduce the financial burden on homeowners. Property taxes can consume a significant portion of a homeowner's income, making it challenging to save for retirement or meet other financial obligations. By eliminating this tax, homeowners will have more disposable income and be able to make necessary improvements to their homes.

Additionally, ending property tax for homeowners will stimulate economic growth. With more financial resources available, homeowners will be able to invest in their properties, leading to increased property values and a more robust real estate market. This, in turn, will create more job opportunities and generate revenue for the state through increased property sales and increased economic activity.

Furthermore, ending property tax for homeowners will promote homeownership and housing affordability. The high property tax burden on homeowners has deterred many individuals and families from purchasing a home. By lowering the tax burden, we can make homeownership more accessible and encourage more families to invest in their own homes. This will help stabilize communities and promote stronger neighborhoods.

In conclusion, as your future governor of Texas, I am committed to ending the property tax burden on homeowners. This outdated tax has unfairly targeted homeowners for too long, and it is time for a change. By targeting businesses instead of homeowners, we can level the playing field and create a more fair and equitable tax system. Ending property tax for homeowners will bring numerous benefits, including reduced financial burdens, economic growth, and housing affordability. Together, we can put an end to the property tax racket and create a brighter and more sustainable future for all Texans.
